Our Philosophy of Care

Our aim is to provide care and expertise to enable all Residents to live a happy and interesting life in a safe, warm and clean environment.

The prime aim is to help the Residents to achieve their maximum capabilities allowed by their physical and mental disabilities.

A realistic approach is desirable as the person’s outlook and a social environment effect functions just as surely as age and illness.

Modern patterns of care concentrate on enabling the elderly persons to care for themselves and to achieve self fulfilment through purposeful enjoyable living.

Where increasing age, frailty and disability require more assistance to be given, it will be given on the basis, and for example when residential care proves necessary the pattern of care within the Home will encourage maximum of which they are able.

The support role of the carer is to enable the elderly person achieve this, and therefore retain their dignity.
